The Business Unit Greenhouse Horticulture & Flower Bulbs of Wageningen University & Research drives innovation towards a sustainable and profitable greenhouse sector, fossil-free, water-efficient, and with minimal chemical use.

Working closely with all the relevant stakeholders, our integrated research approach addresses complex challenges across all aspects of greenhouse horticulture: crop cultivation, management, technology, AI, and greenhouse design.

With facilities in Wageningen and Bleiswijk, the heart of the Dutch greenhouse region, our teams benefit from strong links to both industry and academia. Our state-of-the-art research facilities include greenhouses for sustainable crop protection, energy-efficient cultivation, and advanced monitoring of crop health and materials performance.
